  • ERP logistics integration for Concrete
  • Complete redesign of SismiCAD
  • finite element models and meshing issues
  • Application foundation of SlopeCAD, ThermoCAD, and WallCAD
  • Development of Visual Swarm Builder for the Swarm community
  • Maintenance of TotoTencas Suite shareware apps, TotoTurbo, Silvergol, and Lingotto
  • Development and completion of Dynamic Land, an innovative dynamic simulator for MacOS and Windows
  • Development of PowerToto suite, the first commercial suite of Toto games for MacOS
  • other minor projects

Why Tencas ?

I choosed this name for every software product I made since 1986.
My first computer was a Canon V-20, MSX compatible. This machine has 64 KBRAM, 16 KB VRAM and 32 KB ROM with MSX-BASIC 1.0. Its only media support was the audio tape (cassette), so I wanted to merge my surname with that media. The first result was Tencassette, but I cut early it to Tencas.
My activities went along with MSX system, which looked promising in middle80's. In fact after first ABC with Basic language, I passed to the next evolution of MSX system, MSX2 in 1989.
I became very quickly a strong promoter of MSX2 in Italy, where had already been abandoned by Philips in 1988.Thanks to lots of European friends, first of all Dutch fans, I suggested a suitable hardware upgrade to MSX2+ and I developed interesting software:

  • Columbus
    an image-editing software for MSX2+
  • Edicad
a primitive CAD program for MSX2
  • Delta
    a math function plotting program
  • Titleman
    a video titler for tapes
  • Fractalandia
    a fractal landscape generator
  • TotoTurbo
the best and fastest Totocalcio system ever written for MSX

In 1993 I passed to Macintosh and Apple should consider my fellowship because I convinced some friends of mine to buy a Macintosh. Anyway Tencas remains my programming signature.
If you have some spare time to taste my Macintosh works, please have a look at them !
